...Serving Ohio Law Enforcement

MISSION: To support Ohio Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) in obtaining surplus military property for law enforcement use (1033 Program) and to purchase counter-drug equipment (1122 Program) from Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), or General Services Administration (GSA).

THE 1033 PROGRAM provides surplus DOD property to Law Enforcement Agencies at no acquisition cost. The items are "as is and where is", meaning that the Law Enforcement Agency must pick the item up or pay to have it shipped to their location. The repairs necessary to operate the item fall to the Law Enforcement Agency. Typical items available through this program are aircraft, weapons, body armor, uniforms, computer equipment and vehicles. All items must be used for law enforcement activities, put in service within one year of receipt, and maintained in service for at least one year.

THE 1122 PROGRAM provides for Law Enforcement Agencies to procure items for counter-drug operations at reduced pricing. Items are available from the Department of Army, the Defense Logistics Agency, and the General Services Administration. Items available through these sources are weapons, uniforms, vehicles, in car computers, and repair parts.

TO ENROLL into the programs, go to FORMS. Complete and download/print a Law Enforcement Data Sheet.  Fax the form to (614) 466-5181 for processing.  One form enrolls into both programs.
